The new plant is expected to maintain a production capacity of 50,000 tons per year, increasing the annual galvanizing capacity of Zamil Steel to 75,000 tons.
Total investment in the new plant is SR40 million. The new facility is equipped with the latest machinery and advanced technologies, and is on track to become one of the major state-of-the-art factories in the Middle East.
It features a galvanizing basin measuring 15.5 meters long, 1.50 meters wide, and 3.2 meters in depth.
The plant's high-efficiency production will boost the company's status among its competitors in the field of galvanized steel operations, providing additional products that meet and exceed international quality control standards.
"Increased production capacity empowers our company to operate with enhanced competitiveness in global markets - especially those that specialize in manufacturing and galvanizing transmissions and telecom towers."
The new plant has been designed with particular attention to all aspects of security, safety, and consideration of the environment.
The building, process equipment and facility site as a whole was both designed and constructed to meet or exceed compliance levels as set by international environmental organizations with regard to manufacturing.
